When black soldier flies encounter food waste...
They turn food waste into high-quality protein.
The brightly colored flat-horned fly has strong survival abilities and can be used to process food waste.
Its larvae, before reaching the fifth instar, can convert animal manure, decaying organic matter such as rotten meat, and plant waste into high-quality protein.
In addition, black soldier flies are also emerging as a type of feed insect.
